Claim assignments,
in and on the clock.
Carriers running Guidewire ClaimCenter, TPAs and assignment networks such as XactAnalysis send their contractors new losses as an assignment email. Send it to your Renovo intake address and it becomes a claim on its own — then Renovo times you against the carrier's targets for first contact, being on site and the estimate.

No connector to set up and no carrier to sign anything. Renovo reads the same email you do today, and files it where the claim is.

Settings → Claim Intake gives your company its own intake address.

Point assignments at it
Give it to the carriers and networks that send you work, or add a forwarding rule in Outlook or Gmail for assignment emails.

A claim opens itself
Each assignment becomes a New FNOL claim with what the email says, and the email and its attachments are filed on the claim. Whoever can raise claims is notified.

The clock starts
From the moment the work was assigned, the claim shows how long you have left to call, get there and send the estimate.
The fields you
retype today.
Assignments have no single format, so Renovo reads them by their labels — "Claim #", "Insured", "Loss Location", "Desk Adjuster" — in plain text or the tables most systems send. Check what it read against the email on the claim before the first call.
- Claim and policyThe carrier's claim number, the policy number and the carrier.
- The insuredName, phone and email, from an "Insured" block or labelled lines.
- The lossAddress, split into street, city, state or province and ZIP or postal code; date of loss; the cause, mapped to a loss type such as burst pipe, sewer backup, fire or storm; and the priority.
- The adjusterName, phone and email — or, when the email names nobody, whoever sent it. A forwarded assignment takes the original sender, not your colleague.
- CoverageDeductible and coverage limit, and the loss description into the claim's notes.
- Repeats and updatesThe same email delivered twice raises one claim. A new email for a claim number you already have open is filed on that claim, and nothing on it is overwritten.
- Pasted, tooAn assignment that came by portal or fax text can be pasted into New Claim, and the empty fields fill from it.
Know what's due
before the carrier asks.
Carriers and networks score their contractors on how fast they reach the insured, get on site and send the estimate, and those scores decide who gets the next assignment. Renovo keeps that clock on every claim.
- Your targetsHours to first contact, on site and estimate, set in Settings → Claim Intake — 24, 48 and 72 to start.
- Stamped by the workOn site and the estimate are recorded the first time the claim's status reaches them, from the office or the technician app. First contact is one button on the claim.
- Flagged on the listThe Claims list shows each claim's next deadline — "On site due in 6h", "Contact overdue 2h" — so the late ones are seen first.
- Scored when doneEach finished step stays on the claim as on time, or as how late it was.
The carrier's system,
and yours.
Most property insurers run claims on a core claims system — Guidewire ClaimCenter is the most widely used — and hand work to contractors as a service request, directly or through an assignment network such as Verisk's XactAnalysis. What reaches the contractor is an email. Renovo starts from that email, then carries the claim through the drying, contents, approvals and invoice.
Renovo is not integrated with Guidewire ClaimCenter or XactAnalysis: it doesn't log in to them, pull assignments from them or send status back to them. Your carrier still hears from you the way they ask. Renovo is not affiliated with Guidewire Software or Verisk; their product names are used only to describe where assignments come from.
Asked
often.
About assignments, carriers and the response clock.
Does Renovo integrate with Guidewire ClaimCenter?
Not directly. Renovo doesn't connect to ClaimCenter or any carrier's claims system. It works from the assignment email a carrier on ClaimCenter (or any other system) sends you: forward that email, or have it sent, to your Renovo intake address and it becomes a claim. Nothing is sent back to the carrier automatically — you still update the carrier the way they ask.
Does it work with XactAnalysis assignments?
It works with the assignment email. When the email carries the loss details — claim number, insured, loss address and the rest — Renovo raises the claim from them. Some networks only send a link that says a new assignment is waiting; with no details in the email there is nothing to read, so Renovo doesn't guess. It tells you, keeps the email, and you can paste the assignment into a new claim instead.
What happens when the carrier sends an update to a claim I already have?
If the email names a claim number you already have open, it's filed on that claim's email for you to read. Renovo never overwrites what is on the claim from an update.
Can I set the response times?
Yes. Settings → Claim Intake holds the hours you have to contact the insured, to be on site and to submit the estimate, counted from when the work was assigned. Set any of them to 0 to leave it untimed. One set applies to the whole company.
How does Renovo know when we were on site or sent the estimate?
From the claim's status. The first time a claim reaches On Site, or Estimate Submitted, the time is recorded — whoever moved it, from the office or the technician app. First contact with the insured is the one you record yourself, with a button on the claim; being on site counts as having reached them.
Which plan includes it?
Claim intake and response times are part of Claims, in the Claims plan.
